NCDG Season Opener!

Women's Flat Track Roller Derby is a passion of mine, with super fan focus on the No Coast Derby Girls - Lincoln's Roller Derby League. As fast as hockey, as rough as football and as much fun as a three-ring circus, you'll enjoy yourself at a bout if you know NOTHING about the sport or if you're a regular derby rule-book and stats counter!  Hey, if my sweet little mother-in-law and her friends can have a blast, and my husband can bring his son & nephew, it's guaranteed you'll have a rockin' good time:)
As an official sponsor of our Lincoln league and an ex-skater myself, Taura Horn Photography loves the No Coast Derby Girls!
The 2011 season opener was an action packed battle between our League's all-star team, the Mad Maxines (black) and the Omaha Roller Girls (red).  This rivalry has been going on for years, and this bout commanded record breaking attendance to Pershing.  Congratulations to the Mad Maxines on their KILLER win, 93 to 62!  All your hard work is paying off!  Can't wait to see you the rest of the season.
The Road Warriors, the JV team for the No Coast Derby Girls, split into two teams for a bout of team-mate against team-mate! It was like the Civil War, but purple & white.

And remember, children 12 and under get free admission:)  Come say hi to me at the next home game on April 1st, I'll be down by the track!
